The job description is as follows:
Job Title: Senior Manual QA Tester CardOps
Locations: Phoenix AZ Onsite
Duration: Long Term
Description:
- Perform end-to-end functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing of card transaction processes across debit and credit card systems.
- Validate card lifecycle events such as issuance, activation, PIN generation, blocking, replacement, renewal, and closure.
- Verify card management functions including limits setup, fee structures, interest calculation, and rewards points accrual/redemption.
- Validate back-office operations such as chargebacks, reversals, disputes, reconciliations, and settlement processing.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and standards (e.g., PCI DSS, EMV, ISO 8583 message standards).
- Coordinate with business analysts and card operations teams to understand requirements and convert them into test scenarios and test cases.
- Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and test data tailored for various card products (classic, platinum, prepaid, virtual cards).
- Log and track defects using tools like JIRA or Quality Center, and work closely with developers and product owners to resolve issues.
- Perform testing for card integration with external systems such as core banking, fraud detection engines, loyalty platforms, and payment gateways.
- Participate in release planning, QA sign-off, and production verification testing during deployments and patch releases.
- Analyze card transaction logs and ISO messages to validate backend processing and data integrity.
- Conduct root cause analysis of production issues related to card processing and recommend preventive measures.
- Support audits and provide documentation related to QA processes, test evidence, and compliance verification.
