Job Title: SAP Master Data Analyst

Job Location: Basking Ridge, NJ or Irving, TX | Hybrid- 3 days/week in office- 8am-5pm

Description:

AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an experienced SAP Master Data Analyst with strong expertise in SAP MDG, Fiori, SAP S/4HANA, and Contract & Pricing Data Management. The role will focus on requirements analysis, solution design, data management, testing, implementation, and post-Go-Live support while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze existing systems, identify gaps, and recommend process and technology improvements.
• Identify opportunities for new software/services and enhancements.
• Analyze and decompose complex business and technical requirements.
• Lead requirement elicitation as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Document requirements, functional specifications, wireframes, and process flowcharts.
• Oversee development activities to ensure alignment with functional specifications.
• Support change and configuration management activities.
• Monitor system and process performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Validate end-to-end functionality against defined requirements.
• Prepare technical user manuals, system configuration documents, and technical reports.
• Serve as a functional project lead for design, testing, and post-Go-Live support for major SAP implementations, including R15D, R18, and Reverse 2.0.
• Ensure article and data attributes are properly configured and document changes based on test results.
• Manage daily article additions and updates while ensuring SLAs and data quality requirements are met.
• Manage quality and development system updates from the production reference system.
• Run weekly data-validation reports across SAP regions to ensure accuracy.
• Run monthly reports covering article, vendor, site, and category-level pricing additions/updates.
• Provide business users and management with key status and reporting updates.
• Lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with SAP MDG, Fiori, and SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong experience with Contract and Pricing Data Management in SAP.
• Experience with SQVI and large-scale data analysis/querying.
• Experience supporting SAP implementations, testing, and post-Go-Live activities.
• Strong understanding of article, vendor, site, and pricing data management.
• Ability to perform data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Strong requirements gathering, gap analysis, and functional documentation skills.
• Ability to operate independently and lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, strategic, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage SLA-driven processes.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong overall proficiency in SAP.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Strong data forensics and query capabilities.
• Well-organized, self-driven, and results-oriented.
• Demonstrated proficiency with G Suite applications.
• Knowledge of the regional wireless telecommunications market, business environment, and service providers.

Education:

• BA or BS in Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
