Description:
AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician to join our growing team.
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Desktop Support Technician to join our IT support team. This hands-on role requires physical activity, including setting up and moving desktops, laptops, and other hardware. The ideal candidate will have a customer-first mindset, strong technical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Move and set up IT equipment, including desktops, monitors, and peripherals, as needed.
- Respond to service desk tickets in a timely and professional manner.
- Support user account management, including password resets and access requests.
- Document issues and resolutions within the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with other IT team members on larger projects and rollouts.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in IT support areas.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in desktop support or a similar IT role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment safely (up to 40 lbs).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA A , Microsoft MTA/MCP) are a plus.
