General Statement of Responsibilities
Responsible for planning and implementing the production schedule for the various product lines. Coordinate multiple activities to ensure on-time delivery, production and inventory goals are met. Maintain a minimum of inventory to support the production schedules. Team with the Manufacturing Manager, Production Leaders, and support personnel to ensure on-time delivery, production and inventory goals are met. Follows all ISO/IATF requirements and programs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Plan and schedule orders to assure Agrati’s customer needs are met. Release work orders to production as required.
· Monitor resource requirements to assure schedule requirements are met.
· Maintain minimum inventory to support the production schedule. Work with purchasing and suppliers to develop JIT stocking programs.
· Interface with other departments (Shipping, Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, Quality) to resolve problems with timely delivery.
· Interface with purchasing to resolve problems relevant to wire receipt, raw material quality, quantity verification, cost allocation and wire issuance to production.
· Generate, analyze, and distribute production and inventory level reports to management.
· Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement. Take the initiative to resolve planning issues without supervision. Willingly and actively participate with production teams to resolve production and planning issues.
· Perform other tasks as needed in support of manufacturing operations, customers, and suppliers.
· Bachelor’s degree in operations management or a related field, e.g., Business Administration.
· Six years of related work experience may be substituted. Knowledge of production planning, inventory management, JIT concepts and MRP is also required.
· Firsthand experience working with a business forecast, master production schedule and/or purchasing.
· Must be familiar with a wide variety of manufacturing processes.
· Strong leadership and communication skills.
· Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Applications
