Location: Livingston Manor, NY
Position Type: Part-Time, Year-Round
Schedule: Mondays and Tuesdays, 8:00 AM – 05:00 PM with 30 min lunch break.
(16 hours per week)
Wednesday shift optional
Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will be part of a 3 person crew, focusing primarily on microgreens production. Most tasks will be done as part of a team. Duties include:
- Hand cutting microgreens with care and precision.
- Managing all tasks related to the microgreens harvest.
- Assisting with various aspects of greenhouse production.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented team player who takes pride in their work. The ideal candidate meets the following criteria:
- Physically Fit and Energetic: This is a highly active role. You must be able to work on your feet for the entire 8-hour shift and stay focused and quick.
- Detail-Oriented and Efficient: Ability to follow detailed directions accurately while maintaining a strong sense of urgency.
- Team player and Motivated: Works well as part of a team.
- Passionate: An interest in local food systems, agriculture, or indoor farming is a big plus!
