What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pilot Plant Coordinator position at Agrana?
The Purpose of the Pilot Plant Coordinator Position is to support the New Product Development team by ensuring the accurate release of the daily Pilot Plant schedule, coordinating raw material inventory movements, and executing key operational programs including sanitation, calibration, and preventive maintenance. The role also provides flexible technical coverage across cooking, unitizing, and sanitation tasks to maintain smooth Pilot Plant operations. This position is responsible for facilitating the Sampling process in NPD, ensuring availability of Raw Materials for the Pilot Plant, ensuring completion of routine maintenance schedules, sanitation schedules, and calibration/ verification activities.
Key Accountabilities:
- Release accurate production documentation
- Coordinate inventory activities, including removal of obsolete materials, weekly stock transfers, and ad-hoc inventory movements as needed.
- Oversee preventive maintenance, calibration, and calibration verification activities in the E-Maint system.
- Coordinate execution of the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) during shift operations, including water sampling, equipment cleaning validation swabs, glass and brittle plastic audits, and participation in rotational GMP audits.
- Conduct Critical Control Point (CCP) reviews in the capacity of a PCQI.
- Serve as flexible operational support (“FLEX”) for cooking, unitizing, and shipping/receiving functions as needed.
Fundamental Requirements:
Education / Training:
- HS Diploma minimum relevant experience
- HACCP Certification a plus
- PCQI Certification a plus
Knowledge / Professional Experience:
- 5 years relevant experience in a like position
- SAP experience is a MUST.
- Good computer skills
- Ability to work in fast paced and challenging environment.
- Position in not a remote working position
