Summary/Objective:

Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
- Ensure orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
- Maintain proper storage methods, identification, and stock rotation.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to maximize efficiency.
- Oversee cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate with purchasing and production to forecast material needs.
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise warehouse staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching.
- Enforce company policies, safety rules, and operational standards
- Ensure OSHA compliance, safe work practices, and a clean, organized facility.
- Conduct safety training and maintain documentation.
- Oversee proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
- Implement lean principles and continuous improvement strategies.
- Reduce operational costs through improved workflows and technology.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare operations reports.
- Collaborate with logistics, production, procurement, and customer service teams.
- Resolve delivery issues, delays, or shortages.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and carriers
Work Environment: This job operates in a 90k square foot manufacturing facility consisting of 4 neighboring buildings.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
- 3 years of warehouse or logistics experience; 2 years in a supervisory role.
Reports to: Plant manager / Purchase manager
