Job Summary

As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, ensuring the café environment is welcoming, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately while providing friendly service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including workstations, dining areas, and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure compliance with food handling safety standards.
- Engage with customers to provide assistance, answer questions about menu items, and recommend products.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items; assist in restocking as needed.
- Utilize POS system for order processing.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
Skills
- Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment operation.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with cash registers or point-of-sale systems
