Overview
We are seeking a skilled Installation Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various outdoor signs and lighting. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and collaboratively to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Duties
- Perform installations of outdoor electrical signs according to specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and troubleshooting on installed signs.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to test electrical components and ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Document installation processes, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered during service.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during installations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in installation or maintenance roles, preferably in a technical environment.
- Familiarity with electrical testing tools, particularly an ohmmeter, is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing technologies in the field.
