Position Summary: Senior Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a new initiative within a hospital system. This individual will lead cross-functional projects with a strong emphasis on workflow optimization, process standardization, and contract lifecycle management. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and an exceptional communicator who can translate complex operational needs into scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery across multiple stakeholders within a healthcare environment
- Analyze, design, and optimize workflows and process flows to improve efficiency and throughput
- Drive standardization of operational processes across departments
- Manage and oversee contract lifecycle processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency
- Implement and monitor web-based detection tools and performance metrics
- Define, track, and report on KPIs, throughput metrics, and project milestones
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT teams to align project goals with hospital system priorities
- Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely issue resolution
- Facilitate meetings, prepare executive-level reporting, and communicate project updates clearly
- Support change management and adoption of new workflows and systems
Required Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in Project Management, preferably within healthcare or hospital systems
- Proven experience with:
- Workflow design and optimization
- Process mapping and standardization
- Contract lifecycle management
- Metrics development (KPIs, throughput, performance tracking)
- Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in hybrid work environments
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience with Evolve Tech platforms or similar workflow/process automation tools
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, regulatory workflows)
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification
Technical Skills / Tools
Experience with the following tools is highly desirable:
- Project Management: MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, Jira
- Process Mapping & Workflow: Visio, Lucidchart, Miro
- Data & Metrics: Excel (advanced), Power BI, Tableau
- Collaboration: Microsoft Teams, Slack, SharePoint
- Contract Management Systems: Coupa, Ariba, or similar platforms
Work Environment
- Hybrid schedule (combination of onsite presence within hospital system and remote work)
- Must be flexible to attend onsite meetings as required
