Job Description:

AGM Management is a property management company dedicated to providing affordable housing solutions. We are seeking an experienced Senior FileMaker Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior FileMaker Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom FileMaker solutions, while working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize and enhance business workflows. You will leverage your advanced knowledge of the FileMaker platform to create robust and efficient solutions that meet the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy custom FileMaker solutions for internal and external stakeholders.
• Work closely with users to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Write complex scripts, calculations, and workflows to automate tasks and improve productivity.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for FileMaker databases, ensuring optimal performance and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Integrate FileMaker solutions with other systems, APIs, and external databases as needed.
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and testing of applications to ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Assist with the training of end-users, providing documentation and user-friendly support.
• Stay updated with the latest FileMaker features and best practices to continually improve development processes.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with other developers and IT staff on system design and architecture decisions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (3 years) as a FileMaker Developer.
• Strong knowledge of relational database concepts and experience with FileMaker's scripting, calculation engine, and layouts.
• Experience integrating FileMaker with other software applications using APIs, RESTful services, and external databases.
• Solid understanding of database design principles, normalization, and performance optimization.
• Experience with security management, including user access control and data protection.
• Proficient in FileMaker Advanced, FileMaker Cloud, and knowledge of FileMaker’s web and mobile deployment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about business requirements and technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
