Equipment Assembler

Job Summary:

An Equipment Assembler is responsible for assembling, installing, and testing mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic components to construct or repair equipment and machinery. The role demands attention to detail, precision, and the ability to follow detailed instructions to ensure that equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

 Assembly: Assemble various mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic equipment byfollowing blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions.

 Installation: Install components such as motors, gears, and electrical parts onto machinery.

 Testing: Perform testing on completed equipment or components to ensure proper function and alignment.

 Quality Control: Inspect and verify the quality of all components and the final assembled product for defects, ensuring compliance with standards.

 Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve any issues with equipment assembly, making adjustments as necessary.

 Maintenance Support: Assist in the maintenance or repair of machinery when required.

 Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all work performed, parts used, and tests conducted.

 Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, quality assurance teams, and other assemblers to ensure efficient production.

 Safety: Follow safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations.

Qualifications:

 High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant training is a plus.

 Previous experience in equipment assembly or a related field preferred.

 Proficiency in reading technical diagrams and blueprints.

 Knowledge of mechanical and electrical components and systems.

 Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and assembly machines.

 Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

 Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

 Physical ability to lift, move, and assemble heavy equipment.

Work Environment:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
