Agios Pharmaceuticals is searching for a dynamic Manager, Commercial Supply Chain to join our growing team. Agios outsources all cGMP manufacturing operations to third party CMOs across API, bulk drug product, and final packaged goods. The selected individual will have full exposure across the different areas of the commercial supply chain and across early clinical to new commercial product launches. The individual will also support our growing global footprint as our distribution expands to other markets outside of the US which will also have responsibilities for life cycle management. Additionally, this role will be responsible for supporting the commercial supply chain department across systems, planning and operations

What you will do:
Key Responsibilities
- As a member of cross functional teams that include CMC, QA, and Regulatory; execute activities for Commercial Supply Chain Operations team on assigned projects.
- Oversee timelines for both internal activities and external production activities at Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) to ensure continuous supply of Commercial and Clinical materials through the supply chain.
- Responsible for accurate inventory in Agios’ inventory management system including production, data entry and reporting.
- Support commercial artwork changes for existing commercial products and collaborate with artwork team to develop new artwork for new product or market launches.
- Ownership of change controls and support for deviation investigations and other quality events.
- Collaborate with Finance and Cost accounting team to ensure proper inventory accounting financial reporting.
- Issue POs and track invoices to ensure project budget is maintained.
- Maintain and communicate production schedule at all inventory levels.
- Oversee and maintain production KPIs for each supplier.
- Project management department projects including product launch activities to ensure that action items are identified and tracked against a project plan.
- Support supply planning for both clinical supply chain and commercial supply chain (as needed)
Minimum Requirements
- BS degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain/Material Management or life science field.
- 5 year experience in supply chain or GMP manufacturing environment.
- Experience using ERP/SAP
- Ability to Travel 25% for production or supplier oversight.
- Must be detail focused with an ability to influence suppliers and projects with minimal oversight yet work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience working with CMO partners
- Experience with new product launches
- Experience with continuous manufacturing
- Experience with EU/GCC regional requirements

- The current base salary range for this position is expected to be between $110,029 and $165,044 annualized; final salary will be determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, years of relevant experience, job knowledge, skills and proficiency, degree/education, and internal comparators.
