Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Caregiver based in Lewiston, ME. The Caregiver will provide compassionate and personalized assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and mobility support. The role also includes offering companionship, engaging in meaningful interactions, and providing respite care to support family caregivers. The Caregiver will uphold the company’s values of reliability, respect, and compassionate care while fostering a safe and supportive environment for clients.
Qualifications
- Experience with hands-on personal care, including bathing, dressing, mobility support, and assisting with daily living activities
- Familiarity with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and providing medication reminders
- Ability to offer companionship and build meaningful client relationships
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and a compassionate demeanor
- Experience with caregiving for older adults or individuals with disabilities is preferred
- Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to client needs
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
