Lead, Design, Deliver - Senior Healthcare Architect role in Ann Arbor, Michigan!
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Senior Architect - Healthcare in the Architecture and Engineering industry in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Our client is looking for a full-time Senior Healthcare Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex healthcare projects. Qualified candidates should have earned a Master’s Degree in Architecture, be a registered architect, and have 10-20 years of experience.
A typical day:
- Lead architectural design on complex healthcare projects, including hospitals, ambulatory care facilities, and medical office buildings
- Plan, develop, schedule, coordinate, and conduct phases of architectural work on moderate to large-scale projects
- Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and overall performance and develop and oversee design concepts, space programming, and planning strategies
- Lead preparation and review of drawings, specifications, and construction documents and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards, including FGI, NFPA, ADA, and local/state regulations
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver fully integrated design solutions and act as a discipline lead on multidisciplinary projects and supports overall project coordination
- Supervise, coordinate, and review the work of architects, designers, CAD technicians, and consultants and provide mentorship, leadership, and technical guidance to intermediate and junior staff
- Provide technical support during construction, including site visits, RFIs, submittals, and issue resolution and support business development through technical input, proposal development, and client interaction
- Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to project success and repeat business
Successful candidates will have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field
- Licensed Architect (RA) required (State of Michigan or ability to obtain) and 10 years of experience, with a strong focus on healthcare architecture
- Demonstrated experience working in a consulting architecture/engineering environment
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team delivering integrated design solutions
- Strong knowledge of healthcare planning, codes, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in Revit/BIM and related design tools
- Demonstrated planning, organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills
