Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Project Manager - Information Security in the Education Technology .
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project materials, including charters, RAID logs, status reports, and project plans
- Support the continual improvement of project management frameworks and methodologies based on project learnings
- Provide regular updates to the Program Manager and executive leadership on project status, risks, dependencies, and key milestones; support preparation of materials for Board, Audit Committee, and Cyber Risk Council reporting as needed
- Support the project team to identify and implement process improvements, leveraging automation, AI-assisted tooling, and security industry best practices to improve program delivery and maximize impact.
- Foster a culture of operational excellence, innovation, and accountability within the project team.
- Execution Focus: Demonstrated ability to act as a hands-on contributor, not just a coordinator or delegator; proven track record of embedding with teams to drive results
- Collaboration: Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills; able to work effectively across cultures and time zones
- Working familiarity with information security concepts — including areas such as vulnerability management, data governance, third-party/vendor risk, security monitoring, and AI security — sufficient to contribute as a thought partner, ask informed questions, and capture and action next steps
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Microsoft 365, SharePoint); familiarity with GRC platforms or security tooling is a plus
- Expertise in managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple workstreams and stakeholders
- $100.00 - $115.00 hourly
- Own and drive assigned projects from initiation through completion, ensuring all deliverables meet quality, schedule, and budget expectations
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets; monitor progress and proactively address risks, dependencies, and resource constraints
- Serve as a hands-on contributor, embedding with project teams to resolve issues, remove roadblocks, and ensure accountability for outcomes
- Coordinate with the Program Manager and key Project Team members to ensure alignment and manage interdependencies across the five workstreams of the Information Security Program: security monitoring and alerting, data governance, vulnerability management, third-party risk management, and AI governance and readiness.
- Track and manage project governance, data confidentiality commitments, regulatory and compliance considerations, and security-related obligations relevant to each workstream.

Salary : $100 - $115
