Agilix Solutions is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our Lenexa, KS team for the role of Construction Inside Sales Supervisor. In this full-time role, you’ll actively manage customer accounts and daily inside sales responsibilities while leading and developing the inside sales team. This role balances personal sales performance with team leadership, ensuring strong customer service, timely and accurate quoting, profitable growth, and smooth day-to-day operations within the team.

This role will report to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily leadership, direction, and support to the inside sales team.
  • Assist with workload management, prioritization, and team accountability.
  • Act as a resource for electrical contractors, providing timely and effective customer service.
  • Collaborate with Outside Sales to maintain up-to-date information on contractor accounts and job activity.
  • Complete quote and order requests, ensuring accurate and timely entry.
  • Monitor open order and backorder reports, proactively updating customers and Account Managers on status.
  • Support the sale of electrical and contractor-focused products through strong product knowledge.
  • Provide backup support for the team as needed.
  • Daily inbound calls from customers in a fast-paced, customer driven environment.
  • Communicates with Warehouse Team to fulfill customer needs on orders and deliveries.
  • Ability and desire to promote and profitably sell products and services within the electrical contractor space.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Experience in electrical distribution.
  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service focus with a sales-driven mindset.
  • Quick response time and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
  • Ability to promote products to meet and upsell customer needs.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to execute company strategies aimed at reaching new and existing customers.
  • A strong desire to learn and gain an edge in the electrical industry, particularly in Electrical Construction and Sales.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 5-10 pounds at times.
