Job Overview
Agility Technical Solutions is a dynamic and fast-growing Electronic Manufacturing and Design company supporting aerospace and defense customers.
We are seeking an experienced Surface Mount Operators(SMT) to hire at a warehouse located in Temple! The ideal candidate should be dependable, have reliable transportation, and available to work full time.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Basic computer and software navigation skills.
- Prior experience operating with SMT equipment.
- Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards for PCB assembly.
- Experience with soldering and rework at the PCB level.
- Working knowledge of ESD handling procedures and SMT assembly processes.
- Technical training or certification in electronics assembly is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to understand assembly drawings and production documentation
Responsibilities:
- Performs set-up and operating of SMT assembly equipment including screen printers, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and conveyors.
- Loads components into feeders and verify placement files.
- Operate and monitor SMT machines during production runs to ensure correct placement and soldering.
- Perform solder paste inspection (SPI) and automated optical inspection (AOI) processes.
- Perform manual component placement or rework when necessary.
- Troubleshoot equipment and quality issues in real-time to maintain production flow.
- Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on SMT equipment.
- Visually inspect PCB assemblies for defects such as solder bridging, tombstoning, and misalignment.
- Perform touch-up and rework on SMT components using soldering tools under a microscope.
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
- Support other areas of production as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
