Role Overview
We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager with a strong track record of acquiring net new clients and generating new revenue in the US market. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working directly with end clients, consistently closing deals, and building new client logos from scratch.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive net new business development by acquiring new client logos (no account management or farming).
- Generate new revenue streams through direct client acquisition (no upsell/cross-sell focus).
- Conduct discovery meetings and effectively manage expectations with CIOs, CTOs, and VP-level IT executives.
- Plan and execute lead generation strategies, including outbound campaigns and meeting scheduling.
- Schedule 3 qualified client meetings/appointments per week.
- Perform in-depth market research and intent data analysis before initiating outreach.
- Develop and present unique value propositions tailored to client needs.
- Secure meetings with key IT decision-makers including C-level executives and VPs.
- Own the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
- Drive consistent achievement of $1M annual net new revenue targets.
Required Experience & Skills
- 10–15 years of experience in Business Development / Inside Sales role targeting US end clients.
- Proven track record of bringing in new client logos and closing net new business.
- Strong experience in outbound sales:
- Cold calling
- Email campaigns
- LinkedIn outreach
- Strong ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders (C-level, VP-level).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and consistently meet aggressive targets.
