A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead overnight operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for supervising employees, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and performance.
This is a leadership-focused role. The ideal candidate will be confident managing people, enforcing standards, and driving accountability across the shift.
Schedule
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Sunday through Thursday (overtime as needed)
- Initial training on 1st shift
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities for assigned shift
- Ensure staffing levels and coverage align with production needs
- Monitor production processes, equipment setup, and workflow
- Enforce safety, quality, and operational standards
- Address performance issues and maintain accountability across the team
- Lead shift handoffs, team meetings, and daily communication
- Monitor inventory levels for materials and supplies
- Ensure accurate production reporting and documentation
- Support training and development of production employees
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a production or manufacturing supervisory role
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage employee performance
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Comfortable working overnight shifts
Preferred
- Experience in food or process manufacturing
- Familiarity with GMP or regulated production environments
- Experience with packaging or production line operations
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in varying temperature environments
Salary : $60,000 - $90,000
