Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Full Stack Software Engineer to fill an open position with one of our clients in the banking and financial services industry. This role will be responsible for full lifecycle application development, including designing, coding, debugging, testing, integrating, and maintaining software applications. The ideal candidate will bring strong application development experience along with familiarity with payment processing and fraud prevention technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to work on critical financial technology applications while evaluating new technologies and improving software performance, reliability, and usability.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop and maintain applications throughout the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, software design, coding, debugging, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
Design and implement software solutions using object-oriented design and analysis principles while performing code analysis, software reviews, risk analysis, reliability analysis, and code quality assessments.
Build and enhance front-end graphical user interfaces while integrating applications with existing systems and supporting automation, performance tuning, usability, and scalability improvements.
Evaluate new technologies and implement solutions that meet organizational standards, compliance requirements, localization/globalization needs, and software quality objectives.
The Ideal Candidate
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Strong experience as a Full Stack Developer, Application Developer, or Software Engineer with experience across the full application development lifecycle.
Hands-on experience with AEGIS and Safer Payments or similar payment processing and financial technology platforms.
Strong understanding of object-oriented design and analysis (OOA/OOD), software architecture, application integration, debugging, and software quality assurance.
Experience with application development, software testing, automation, performance tuning, and usability improvements.
Experience with DBT, Snowflake, fraud technology, IBM Safer Payments, and/or Spring Boot is highly preferred.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate technical risks and develop reliable, maintainable software solutions.
