What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Agility Center Orthopedics?
We are looking for a dedicated individual who is looking for long term employment in the Orthopedic field. You will work in the clinic with an Orthopedic surgeon. Looking for someone with medical and insurance experience Spanish speaking beneficial.
The office hours are 8-5 Monday through Thursday, 2-4 hours on Friday, no weekends or holidays. This position is a lead MA for a doctor to run his clinic and manage his surgeries schedule.

Some of your responsibilities will be:
- Schedule surgeries and obtain pre authorizations
- Call patient and answer questions
- prepare and monitor schedule for in clinic days
- Assist in examination and treatment plans under the direction of a physician
- Conduct intake and HPI in chart
- Complete patient health history in the electronic medical record
- Knowledge of anatomy and proficient in medical terminology
- taking out staples and stitches, casting and splinting
You will see a variety of conditions and fractures along with all ages of patients. It is a very interesting field and you learn something new every day.
