Trust Associate (Contract), Houston, TX
Agility 360 is seeking Trust Associates for a contract position in Houston, TX. This role is responsible for managing client relationships and delivering high-quality service to an assigned book of Corporate Trust clients. The Trust Associate II supports Collateral Loan Obligations (CLOs) and Leveraged Finance Facilities, manages daily trust operations, and ensures accurate and timely client reporting. The position requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, support client transactions, and collaborate frequently with asset managers, investors, auditors, and rating agencies.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Manage a book of loan clients, ensuring excellent service delivery within the Corporate Trust business
- Support client relationships associated with Collateral Loan Obligations (CLOs) and Leveraged Finance Facilities
- Execute day-to-day trust operations and reporting with minimal supervision
- Assist in customer deals and transactional support activities
- Create technical report specifications based on trust and indenture language
- Read and interpret trust indentures with respect to reporting and compliance requirements
- Set up and manage payment calculations across multiple in-house systems
- Receive, map, and reconcile periodic collateral data
- Compile and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual payment and/or tax reports
- Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure timely and accurate payments are received and made
- Perform portfolio compliance testing on selected structured fixed-income deals (trade testing)
- Conduct quality control reviews of reports to ensure timeliness and accuracy standards are met
- Make tax elections, file for Employer Identification Numbers (EINs), and track residual holder transfers
- Participate in new client proposals and contribute to business-related projects
- Maintain frequent communication with asset managers, investors, auditors, and rating agencies
- 1 to 3 years of related experience or experience in a similar field
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management, and other commercial banking products and services
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, industry rules, regulations, standards, and practices
- Intermediate TranStar experience preferred
- Intermediate-level verbal and written communication skills
Physical Requirements:
- Position requires all forms of dexterity/mobility which may include extended periods of sitting/standing. May occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, twist, climb or balance, stoop, kneel crouch or crawl.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to speak and hear, lift and carry up to twenty-five pounds (25 lbs.) or occasionally more.
- May be required to drive for business purposes and must hold a valid driver’s license in good standing and maintain personal auto insurance in compliance with local or state requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, occasionally noisy, or distracting environment.
