Foreclosure/Litigation Paralegal - Fort Lauderdale, FL
Agility 360 is searching for a Foreclosure/Litigation Paralegal for a direct hire position with our law client located in Florida. You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth running of the office and utilize effective case management skills. The ideal candidate will have previous default servicing experience and must be self-motivated. This is a full-time, on-site position so reliable transportation is a must. Experience with contested foreclosure files and/or sale stage is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Foreclosure and Litigation Manager and Attorneys and enhance office efficiency
- Handle communication with clients, borrowers, etc
- Conduct investigations and statistical/documentary research
- Locate and develop case relevant information
- Draft and file basic legal documents and correspondence
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Maintain up-to-date contact lists
- Monitor deadlines and navigate multiple calendars
Skills
- 1 - 3 years of Paralegal experience
- 1 - 3 years of Litigation or Foreclosure experience
- Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols, and court system
- Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office
- Working knowledge of case management software
- Excellent secretarial and organizational skills
- Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure
- Prefer experience in BKFS; TEMPO; ADR; DRA
- Proficient in running PACER and SCRA
- Communicate with clients and borrowers, and the Courts
- File pleadings with the Courts
- Direct hire position with our client
- Pay: $50,000 - $65,000 per year (based on experience)
- On-site position in Fort Lauderdale, FL
- Employment is contingent on passing a background check and drug screening
