Job Description Overview

Ariba Network (AN) and Customer Realm (APP) data is integral to the support and success of various lines of business. SAP Ariba customers are supported through specific downstream solutions that require this data. Ariba IT Business Services provides infrastructure, administration, development, and integrations for these solutions.  The ability to provide these solutions and the data are key to supporting SAP Ariba customers

Duties and Responsibilities

• Acts as a subject matter expert in the Data & Analytics Cloud Solution Architect
• Hands on" Experience creating Proof of Concepts, Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) that lead to production deployments. 
• Demonstrates complex concepts and proves the capability of those solutions through design collaboration sessions with the customer/partner.
• Conceptual understanding of integrating SAP HANA data platform
• Create HANA objects such as Calculations Views, Stored Procedures, tables, to meet functional requirements
• Measurement of HANA database performance and tuning
• Must be able to multi-task and work independently, take initiative to prioritize and resolve
• Involve in the implementation, administration and support of SAP HANA systems
• Create wireframes to show the art of the possible to the end-user communities
• Prototype solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• Translate requirement into functional and technical specifications for dashboard objects
• Design and deliver the required configurations per the wireframe and approved requirements
• HANA, Data Modeling, ETL, Report Development
• Regular status reporting to the Manager

Basic Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field 
• 6 to 11 Years of experience in SAP HANA Native Modelling & reporting. Should have experience on HANA modelling, graphical calculation view, scripted calculation view, also knowledge of HANA SQL
• 6 years experience in technology solutions, architecture, consulting, and/or cloud/infrastructure technologies

OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 4 years experience in technology solutions, architecture, consulting, and/or cloud/infrastructure technologies

OR equivalent experience

• Experience with HANA development processes
• Hana integration skills, experience in Hana modelling and using Hana views for reporting
• Demonstrated experience developing SAC stories in canvas, responsive, grid, advanced story designing blending data, formulas, cross calculations, input controls, linked analysis
• Build Analytic and planning models, visualizations with their usage charts, tables, maps, filters, dropdown menus, hiding functions, interactive objects, pictures
• Knowledge of data modeling and preparing datasets, merging, custom calculations, formatting values, dimensions and measures
• Advanced analytical skills, planning skills
• Excellent relationship management and facilitation skills

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of Cloud deployment of HANA and analytic solutions
• Hands-on experience working on Data & Analytics solutions, end-to-end, that have gone to production
• Application development skills - ability to stand up a back end and front end analytics solutions
• Architecture – the ability to create and explain 3-tier architecture diagrams, system context diagrams, system interaction diagrams, etc.
