Job Summary:
Manufacturing-Focused Manufacturing Technician who owns troubleshooting, equipment, placement of production lines, and 3-phase motor maintenance. Expert-level technician and technical leader specializing in advanced automation, controls, and diagnostics. Serves as the subject matter expert for Siemens PLCs, drives, and industrial systems.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and 3-Phase motor troubleshooting skill.
- Diagnose and resolve Siemens PLC faults.
- Perform sensor replacement/adjustments.
- Configure and troubleshoot Siemens HMI controls.
- Utilize Ignition Data Validation Software for monitoring and optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve VFD faults.
- Maintain specialized systems such as industrial HVAC and industrial plumbing.
Manufacturing & Plant Support
- Work closely with operations teams to understand equipment and process needs.
- Employ practical maintenance solutions for manufacturing challenges.
- Support installation and commissioning activities.
- Troubleshoot facility and equipment issues.
- Improve workflow, material flow, and plant utilization.
Technical Skills
- 6 years’ maintenance experience with advanced controls and automation.
- Expertise in Siemens PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.
- Strong leadership, documentation, and cross-functional problem-solving skills.
- Able to train and develop technicians across all levels.
Education and Experience:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering training a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a mass manufacturing or equivalent field.
