Job Overview:

The Director of Finance is responsible for leading all financial functions across Fiber Global’s operations, including Brownsburg and Whitestown manufacturing facilities. This role will build and scale the finance organization in a high-growth, startup environment, supporting rapid expansion, capital projects, and ongoing manufacturing operations.

The Director of Finance will serve as a strategic business partner to executive leadership, providing financial insight, discipline, and operational support to drive performance, manage risk, and enable decision-making across the organization.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead all finance functions including financial planning & analysis (FP&A), accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across multiple sites.
  • Own the development and execution of financial strategies to support company growth, capital investments, and operational scaling.
  • Partner closely with executive leadership, operations, and project teams to provide financial insights and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Develop and manage company-wide budgets and forecasts, including capital expenditures and project-based financial planning.
  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls, financial policies, and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Drive cost control initiatives and identify opportunities for efficiency and margin improvement across manufacturing operations.
  • Support capital project financial oversight including tracking spend, forecasting costs, and analyzing ROI.
  • Build, lead, and develop the finance team, establishing scalable processes and systems to support growth.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk to ensure operational stability.
  • Collaborate with external partners including auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions as needed.
  • Implement and optimize financial systems, reporting tools, and ERP platforms.
  • Provide leadership in developing KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics across the organization.
  • Ensure all financial activities are aligned with company goals, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field required.
  • At least 5 years of progressive finance experience required, including leadership experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or project-based environments required.
  • Experience in startup, high-growth, or scaling environments strongly preferred.
  • CPA, MBA, or equivalent advanced certification preferred.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong experience leading finance functions in a multi-site manufacturing environment.
  • Deep understanding of financial planning & analysis, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
  • Experience supporting capital-intensive projects, facility buildouts, or production ramp-ups.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale finance processes and teams in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and cost control initiatives in manufacturing settings.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in an environment with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and aggressive timelines.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills with executive leadership, operations, and engineering teams.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • All other knowledge, skills, and abilities that are reasonably aligned with this role.


Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Regular presence at both Brownsburg and Whitestown manufacturing facilities.
  • Periods of working on feet while interacting with operations and leadership teams.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment as required for safety.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
