Agile Staffing and Professional Services is recruiting on behalf of a confidential manufacturing company supporting operations near the Portland, IN area with access from surrounding Ohio markets.
We are seeking CNC Machinists with setup and programming experience to support a precision machining environment. This role is ideal for machinists who can set up machines, make program adjustments, and hold tight tolerances — not just operate equipment.
Must have experience with setup and making program adjustments.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Perform setup and operation of CNC mills and/or lathes
- Read and interpret blueprints and process sheets
- Hold tight tolerances (as low as .0002”)
- Make program adjustments and tool offsets
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools
- Maintain quality and production standards
WHAT YOU NEED
- CNC machining experience (mill and/or lathe)
- Setup experience required
- Ability to read blueprints
- Experience holding tight tolerances
- Ability to make program adjustments (not just operate)
- Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift and overtime
- Base pay ranges based on experience and machine type (Mill / Lathe I & II levels)
- 15% shift premium applied to base rate
- Higher-level machinists (setup/programming) fall toward top of pay range
