Physical Therapist Technician

Position Summary: We are currently seeking an organized and attentive Physical Therapy Tech to join our team. Under the supervision of Physical Therapists, the ideal candidate will work to provide high-quality care to our patients. Your duties will include operational tasks including patient intake and preparation, observation and documentation, among other clinic maintenance responsibilities. Responsibilities: Supporting Physical Therapists in preparing treatment area, equipment, and materials for patient care.Prepares patients for physical therapy treatment by welcoming, providing and/or assisting patient into physical therapy apparel or apertures.Under the direction of the Physical Therapists, assisting patients with exercises (in addition to walking, sitting, standing, etc.), helping with transfers, and providing support during treatments.Educating patients regarding physical therapy treatments and exercises, including proper use of equipment.Observing patients performing prescribed physical exercises and immediately reporting concerns.Documenting patients' responses to treatment and updating patient files.Performing basic prescribed treatments such as applying ice packs or heat pads as instructed.Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and therapy areas, ensuring clinic is in compliance with safety and sanitation protocolsPerforming administrative tasks, including ordering supplies, answering phone calls, and scheduling appointments as necessary.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
