Position Summary 


A Vice President of Global Sales plays a pivotal role in driving an organization's revenue growth and expanding its market presence worldwide. This executive leader is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives. By leading and mentoring the global sales team, the VP of Global Sales ensures the achievement of sales targets, fosters a high-performance culture, and cultivates strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.


The VP of Global Sales is instrumental in identifying new market opportunities and expanding the sales pipeline to support the company's growth ambitions. This role involves close collaboration with various departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure that sales initiatives are well-supported and aligned with broader corporate strategies. Additionally, the VP of Global Sales analyzes market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions and keep the company ahead in a competitive landscape.


Responsibilities 


  • Traveling up to 50% of the time
  • Serving as a thought leader on growth opportunities to our executive leadership team. Defining strategies and plans to capture these opportunities and improve company’s business 
  • Coaching and managing Sales Team including Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives to ensure continued professional development and consistent success
  • Championing and executing new strategies in partnership with the [company name] executive leadership
  • Collaborating across regions and functions to drive critical initiatives to success
  • Collaborating on executive presentations, in partnership with [company name]’s executive sales leadership


Minimum Qualifications


·        MBA or equivalent practical experience

·        10 years of experience is sales operations, management consulting, product management, or equivalent experience in a technology/media company

·        Strategic consulting, sales support, and market research experience

·        Distinctive problem-solving, strategic and analytical capabilities

·        Minimum experience of 10 years in client facing, enterprise account sales in $500M Annual Sales Revenues

·        Strategic sales knowledge with ability to negotiate long-term agreements directly with clients

·        Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently

·        Strong relationship building skills and can prospect and qualify new opportunities with a comfort level required to sell to executives

·        Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing fast growth environment

·        A desire to travel a minimum of 50%
