The Opportunity
We are actively seeking an Assembly Technician to join our growing Production Team. We put the power of real-time data in farmers’ hands by creating a simple to use device for farm equipment where data
(machine agronomic) is pulsed every second. Our team of incredibly talented people built the technology (Linux open source ) from the ground up to store (big data), stitch, and visualize the data.
We strive to strengthen rural communities and existing farmer relationships, and we strongly believe in farmer data rights. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, collaborate and communicate well with others on both the business and tech teams and be very knowledgeable/proficient in the required responsibilities and qualifications listed below.
The Team
This role reports to the Production Manager and works with the entire SureTrack team including production, quality, safety and engineering.
Responsibilities
- Ability to use hand tools to assemble components.
- Lift raw materials and completed assemblies to be moved
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
- Follow Job Orders to build required assemblies.
- Maintain a clean and efficient work area.
- Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED
