Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans utilizing construction management software such as Primavera P6 and HeavyBid to establish timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications and schematics are accurately interpreted and implemented.
- Oversee construction site activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately to facilitate precise execution of construction tasks.
- Manage project schedules proactively, adjusting timelines as needed to meet milestones while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Monitor progress through regular site visits and detailed reports; address issues promptly to minimize delays.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and progress reports.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in project coordination on active sites.
- Proficiency with construction estimating tools and construction management software such as Primavera P6, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and HeavyBid.
- Solid understanding of project scheduling techniques and construction site safety practices.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with precision.
- Familiarity with contracts management and negotiation processes within the construction industry.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with team members and stakeholders.
- Civil or structural engineering knowledge is a plus; relevant certifications such as PMP or OSHA are advantageous.
