Position Overview:
The Material Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the supply, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment required for ground handling operations. This role ensures timely availability of necessary resources while maintaining accurate inventory levels and proper handling of materials.

Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies needed for ground handling operations.
Maintain accurate inventory records, tracking materials and equipment usage.
Ensure proper storage conditions and handling of materials to prevent damage or loss.
Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Conduct regular stock checks and order new materials when necessary.
Assist in organizing and managing material stock to optimize space and accessibility.
Monitor and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in material handling processes.

Fully understand AGI Health & Safety and Security policies.
Attend training courses as may be required by AGI.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in supply chain management or logistics is a plus.
If work location is in the United States, must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986. If work location is in Canada, must have authorization to work in Canada as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) of 2001.
Experience: 1 year of experience in materials handling, inventory management, or a related role, preferably within the aviation industry.
Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Knowledge: Familiarity with inventory management systems and material handling procedures.
