We are actively seeking a painter for the manufacturing floor to set up, operate, or tend machines to coat or paint manufactured sheet metal products with paint, epoxy, or rust-proofing materials using a wide variety of colors.

The Opportunity
We are actively seeking a painter for the manufacturing floor to set up, operate, or tend machines to coat or paint manufactured sheet metal products with paint, epoxy, or rust-proofing materials using a wide variety of colors.
Responsibilities
- Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects or deviations from standards, and make adjustments as necessary.
- Wash & prepare product before the painting process. Preparation may include, Sand blasting,
- Determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality by performing visual inspections, or by using
- Select appropriate coatings, paints, or sprays, or prepare them by mixing substances according to
- Set up and operate machines to paint or coat products with such materials as paint, epoxy, rust
- Turn dials, hand wheels, valves, or switches to regulate air pressure and circulation, and the flow or
- Clean machines, related equipment, and work areas, using water, solvents and other cleaning aids.
- Attach hoses or nozzles to machines, using wrenches and make adjustments to obtain the proper
- Place items or products on feed racks, spindles, or reel strands to coat, paint, or spray them, using hands, hoists, or truck lifts.
- Mark and/or tag material with proper job number, piece marks, and other identifying marks as required.
- High School Diploma
- One to two years related experience preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Computer literate
- Microsoft Office
