As an Engineering Manager in our Digital Engineering team, you will lead day-to-day operations for a group of talented engineers focused on developing innovative digital products. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality hardware and software solutions that meet our customers’ needs, while fostering a collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented team culture.

The role will report directly to the Senior Engineering Manager.
Working closely with senior engineering leadership, you will manage schedules, resources, and priorities to ensure successful execution of projects and continuous improvement in our development processes.

Responsibilities
- Manage a team of engineers specializing in DevOps, Web, Device Integrations, Mechanical, Electrical, Hardware, or Software engineering
- Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with requirements.
- Provide hands-on engineering leadership in applicable areas of expertise.
- Partner with cross-functional teams—including Product Management, Manufacturing, Sales, and Customer Success—to ensure alignment and effective execution.
- Support implementation of best practices for engineering design, testing, and documentation.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and performance feedback for engineering staff.
- Ensure adherence to company engineering standards and compliance requirements.
- Support scaling of product designs for global markets (US, Canada, EMEA, APAC).
- Contribute to process improvements and recommend new tools or methods to improve efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
- 5–7 years of related work experience, including 2–3 years in a people-leadership role.
- Experience with code review and engineering architecture in a fast-moving engineering environments.
- Experience leading projects through the full engineering lifecycle.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to build trust and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Capable of motivating team members, resolving conflicts, and fostering professional growth.
- Effective at managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Solid understanding of relevant engineering tools and frameworks (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Altium, Git, AWS).
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices including new and emerging technology.
- Ability to analyze and solve technical problems in a collaborative manner.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and typical business software packages.
- A hands-on leadership style that supports, guides, and inspires your team.
- Clear communication skills for aligning project goals and providing constructive feedback.
- A drive for continuous improvement in people, processes, and products.
