The Opportunity
The Control Panel Technician is responsible for building electrical panels for dry and liquid fertilizer systems.
Responsibilities
- Layout and wiring of electrical panels using electrical schematics
- Using proper tools to mount user interface devices in the door of panels
- Receiving outsourced parts to inventory
- Testing and troubleshooting electrical panels to ensure quality
- Follow 508a UL standard for building electrical panels
- Building crates to ensure proper shipping of panels
- Evening and weekend hours may be required.
- High school diploma or equivalent..
- 1-3 years' progressive experience in an electronics/electrical field or equivalent.
- Electrical background with the ability to quickly lay out, wire, and troubleshoot electrical components and enclosures.
- Ability to read and understanding of schematics and blue prints is a plus.
