As a Kitchen Lead you will be an ambassador for our mission: building healthier communities by connecting people to real food. This role requires culinary skills, leadership abilities, and operational awareness to manage the full cycle of kitchen operations throughout different service periods. Adheres to Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) food safety practices in meal preparation
What You'll Do:
These responsibilities highlight some of the key functions a Kitchen Lead will perform. They include but are not limited to:
- Ensure kitchen is clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout service
- Manage inventory, track ingredients, monitor expiration dates on. Follow and ensure the kitchen crew is following FIFO Rules. Ensure the product comes out from the kitchen is well labeled.
- Ensuring that recipes and production specifications are followed accurately to maintain consistency in product quality. Conducting Ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. Maintain cleanliness.
- Take control of day-to-day production of the kitchen. Follow the production plan given, reduce downtime and enhance work efficiency.
- Provide directions, guidance and support to team members to ensure they meet their goals and perform their duty effectively.
- Coordinate and supervise the work activities of cooks on each station in the kitchen. Train, supervise and evaluate kitchen staff.
- Conduct regular taste tests to validate food quality
- Lead food tastings and midday quality checks- Assist with new menu training and implementation
- Process receiving orders and report shortages or quality issues
- Physical Requirements: Lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods.
- Complete other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
- You must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
