This position is 2nd Shift Milling Machinist - scheduled Monday through Thursday 3:00pm - 1:00am.
Position Description:
- Manufacturing products to print using various manual and CNC machine tools
Primary Objectives:
- Responsible for Quality of parts manufactured in a timely manner
- Responsible for daily manufacturing of work in adherence to the quality management system
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for manufacturing of parts
- Inspection of parts
- Following safety procedures
- Correct documentation (timekeeping, BOM’s, prints..etc.)
- Other duties as assigned such as general maintenance, housekeeping, etc.
Qualifications:
- Machining experience in a related industry preferred
- Machine tool technology degree (2‐yr) preferred
- Ability to setup and run various programs on machine tools
- Ability to multi‐task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Strong math and mechanical aptitude preferred
- Comfortable using various computer software
- Ability to use and read measuring equipment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the day
- Good verbal and written communication skills
