Position: Salesman
Brief Description: To Maximize sales of New Pumping Units, Refurbished Pumping Units, Service Jobs, and parts for the Pumping Unit Industry and identify new markets and business opportunities.
Key Tasks performed by Sales Team:
· Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
· Visiting potential customers to prospect for business
· Acting as point of contact between the company and existing/potential customers
· Negotiating terms of agreements and closing sales
· Gathering market and customer information and intelligence
· Representing the Company at trade exhibits, events, and community functions
· Negotiating variations in price, delivery, and specifications with Management
· Check inventory of products, record sales information, sending proper order information to logistics
· Review own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
· Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotes
· Maintain and build relationships with customers, and vendors through external events
