In-Home Medical Fitness Specialist (PTA, COTA, Exercise Physiologist)

-Part-Time (10 sessions/week) | Weekdays 10am–2pm preferred

This is a part-time, mid-day, in-home position requiring travel between clients.
Applicants without a relevant degree or clinical/medical fitness experience will not be considered.
About the Role
Agewell Senior Fitness is seeking a medically-informed exercise professional to provide 1-on-1 in-home training for older adults in Towson and surrounding areas.
You will work with clients managing conditions such as:
- Parkinson’s disease
- Stroke recovery
- Arthritis
- Balance/fall risk
- General age-related decline
This is not a gym role — sessions are to be designed with appropriate modification and challenge, highly personalized, and relationship-driven.

Schedule & Expectations
- Minimum 10 sessions per week required
- Most clients prefer weekdays between 10am–2pm
- Flexible scheduling, but mid-day availability is essential
Compensation & Perks
- $43 per 45-minute session
- $55 per 60-minute session
- Paid training & onboarding time
- $150/year equipment stipend
- $250/year continuing education (after 90 days)

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
You must meet ONE of the following:
- Degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, or related field with medical fitness experience
- Licensed PTA, COTA, OT, PT, or similar healthcare credential
AND:
- Experience designing exercise programs for special populations or post-rehab clients
- Strong understanding of exercise safety and co-morbidities
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between homes
- Comfortable working independently in clients’ homes
