The role:
This role will include leading and supporting projects across Business Development, Strategic Finance, and Investor Relations. It will require project management effort and coordination across cross-functional teams comprising members of the Clinical, R&D, Commercial, Legal, Regulatory, and CMC teams. Within each of the focus areas the following efforts will be part of the roles and responsibilities of this new hire.
In the role you will:
Investor Relations
· Recurring investor engagement
· Coordination of, and potential participation in, annual Healthcare Conferences
· Sell-side analyst engagement
· Coordination of, and potential participation in, other recurring activities, including monthly retail shareholder calls, quarterly earnings announcements, non-deal road shows, R&D and Investor days at Medical congresses, and the annual shareholder meeting
Strategic Finance
· Management and refinement of Agenus all-company multi year pro forma financial model
· Long Range Development Planning
· Same broad strategic efforts for Agenus, MiNK, and SaponiQx
· CMC partnership efforts
Business Development & Capital Formation
· Maintenance and continued management of active royalty agreements and strategic partnerships
· Continued engagement with prospective pharma partners for BOT/BAL
· Potential leadership of/participation in integration needs post-pharma partnership
· Continued engagement with prospective BOT/BAL regional partnerships (MENA, LATAM, APAC, E.Europe/CIS)
· AGEN2373 go-forward BD needs
· Annual key meetings (JPM, ASCO, BIO)
· Maintenance of interaction tracking tools (Monday.com, Excel)
· SaponiQx BD interactions (vaccine manufacturers, pharma service providers, supply/materials resellers)
· Planning and potential leadership of additional active out licensing activities for other assets
Qualifications: About You
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, or related) preferred
8–10 years of relevant experience in life sciences, biotech, pharma, consulting, investment banking, or corporate/business development roles
Solid understanding of the biopharma landscape, including drug development stages, regulatory considerations, and commercial drivers
Strong financial and analytical skills with experience building and managing financial models and development plans
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with attention to detail and timely delivery
Prior experience in investor relations, corporate strategy, or business development within healthcare/biotech strongly preferred
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with comfort engaging investors, analysts, and external partners in both written and verbal settings
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration/project management tools (e.g., Monday.com)
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across Clinical, R&D, Commercial, Legal, Regulatory, and CMC teams
