Vice President, Finance

AgentSync is a powerful, easy-to-use Compliance as a Service solution, directly integrating regulatory database sources of truth (i.e. NIPR, FINRA) with core business systems (i.e. Salesforce) so we can automate the critical business processes associated with these compliance requirements.

Overview

AgentSync is seeking a strategic, execution-oriented finance leader to serve as our top financial executive, reporting directly to the CEO, with responsibility for building and optimizing the financial foundation that supports both operational excellence and long-term strategic goals. As S/VP of Finance, you will own all aspects of financial strategy, operations and reporting, and strategy execution to ensure the company’s continued growth, scalability, and fiscal health.

Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Own the development and execution of AgentSync’s financial strategy in alignment with company goals.
• Serve as a core member of the executive team and strategic advisor to the CEO.
• Lead long-range planning, scenario modeling and capital efficiency efforts across the business.
• Evaluate growth initiatives, pricing strategies, and investment opportunities through a financial lens.

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Lead forecasting, budgeting and financial modeling processes to support key strategic decisions.
• Deliver clear, actionable financial insights and OKRs to the CEO, board and leadership team.
• Evaluate and model the financial impact of new initiatives, product investments and market expansion.

Accounting & Reporting Oversight

• Provide strategic direction to the accounting function; oversee month-end close, revenue recognition and compliance.
• Support the Controller in managing day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll, AP/AR, and GL functions.
• Ensure timely, accurate, GAAP-compliant financial reporting and support audit readiness.
• Implement scalable financial controls, processes and systems to support company growth.

Operational Finance & Resource Stewardship

• Oversee cash flow management and capital planning.
• Lead the development and enhancement of financial systems, tools, and internal control frameworks.
• Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and compliance with all relevant regulatory and tax requirements.
• Partner cross-functionally to optimize unit economics, pricing strategies and align financial resources with strategic priorities.

Insights & Business Partnership

• Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools that translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive margin improvement, cost optimization, and revenue acceleration.
• Foster financial discipline and literacy throughout the organization to inform better decision-making.

Team Leadership & Culture

• Build and scale a high-performing finance and accounting team.
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability and financial literacy across the company.
• Champion transparency, integrity, and accountability across all financial practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 10 years of progressive Finance leadership experience within VC backed high-growth SaaS organizations.
• Deep expertise in financial planning, accounting principles (e.g., GAAP), systems implementation, and compliance.
• Expertise in leading lean Finance organizations where balancing strategy and execution is a must.
• Strong operational acumen and a track record of influencing strategic business outcomes.
• Proven ability to manage audits, implement scalable processes, and drive organizational change.
• Exceptional communication skills with executive presence; able to convey complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies, processes, and systems.

Location

This is a hybrid position and is open to candidates living within 25 miles of our office in RiNo. Candidates for this role will work on our hybrid schedule Tu, Wed., Th. in office, and M, F work from home.

Total Compensation

The following represents AgentSync’s reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role.

💰 $270K-$300K base salary

💲 25%-30% Annual company bonus program
