Role Description

Agentous is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to serve as the technical partner to our enterprise sales organization. This is a full-time remote position responsible for leading technical discovery, solution design, product demonstrations, proof-of-concept engagements, and technical validation throughout the enterprise sales cycle.

You will work closely with prospective customers to understand their business objectives and technical environments, translating complex requirements into compelling Agentous solutions. You'll partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure successful evaluations and smooth transitions from pre-sales to implementation.

This role requires someone who can communicate comfortably with executives, business stakeholders, architects, developers, and IT teams while demonstrating the business value and technical capabilities of Agentous' Agentic AI platform.


Responsibilities
  • Partner with Account Executives throughout the enterprise sales process as the primary technical advisor.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer business processes, technical architecture, and integration requirements.
  • Design and present solution architectures tailored to customer environments and business objectives.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations customized to customer use cases.
  • Lead proof-of-concept (POC) engagements and technical evaluations.
  • Respond to technical RFPs, security questionnaires, and architecture discussions.
  • Provide guidance on APIs, integrations, authentication, deployment models, and enterprise architecture.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to communicate customer requirements and market feedback.
  • Develop technical presentations, solution documentation, and architecture diagrams.
  • Support successful transitions from pre-sales through implementation and customer onboarding.


Qualifications


Required
  • 5 years of Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Solutions Architecture experience supporting enterprise software sales.
  • Demonstrated success supporting complex enterprise sales cycles and strategic customer engagements.
  • Strong technical presentation, solution design, and product demonstration skills.
  • Experience communicating effectively with executives, technical stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with enterprise APIs, cloud platforms, authentication, integrations, and modern software architectures.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating across distributed teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.


Preferred
  • Experience with AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, automation platforms, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Experience supporting Fortune 1000 or large enterprise customers.
  • Familiarity with financial services, specialty finance, or private equity is a plus.


Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $90,000–$110,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
  • Quarterly Performance Incentive: Earn $7,000–$10,000 per quarter based on achievement of company and team performance objectives.
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $118,000–$150,000.
  • Equity: Eligible for a future equity grant with a target value of up to $25,000, subject to Board approval and the Company's Equity Incentive Plan.
