Regional business advisory firm headquartered in Ridgeland, MS is looking for an FP&A Analyst to lead and assist with client engagements. Our firm provides full service business advisory services to start-up and high growth companies across the Country. These services include fractional CFO and controller services, financial planning & analysis, operations support, business model development, fundraising support, and strategic consulting services.
Job duties include:
- Serving as fractional FP&A analyst for multiple clients
- Building and maintaining financial models, budgets, and rolling forecasts
- Developing KPI dashboards and recurring management reporting packages
- Performing variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast) and identifying drivers
- Partnering with client leadership on scenario modeling and strategic initiatives
- Analyzing the financial impact of client business decisions
- Preparing investor and board-level presentations, including supporting materials for fundraising
- Translating financial data into actionable insights for non-finance audiences
- Collaborating with client accounting teams to strengthen forecasting and reporting processes
- Some travel required
Job candidate requirements include:
- Energetic and a positive attitude
- Ability to learn fast and desire to improve skill and experience level
- Currently in an FP&A analyst, senior financial analyst, or similar analytical finance role
- MBA, CPA, or CFA not required but a plus
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills (required)
- Experience with BI / data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau (preferred)
- Strong understanding of the three financial statements and how they connect
- Familiarity with ERP or accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, etc.) a plus
- Self-starter, self-motivated

- Strong communication skills, written and verbal — including the ability to present analysis clearly to client leadership
