What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Optometry Assistant/Technician- Willing to train position at Ageless Eye Care?
Mobile School-Based Optometry practice seeking friendly and energetic staff to fill in-office and field positions. Looking for candidates that are self-motivated, reliable, efficient and are able to multi-task. Knowledge of prescriptions/optical is helpful but not required - training available. Excellent computer skills are a must. Most important is a friendly demeanor and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Various duties include pre-testing students and working as an optometric assistant to the doctor, along with clerical work such as scheduling and data entry. Must be comfortable interacting with children on a daily basis. Many locations within Chicago and so must have your own vehicle, and valid Illinois drivers license and insurance. Perfect position for students looking for clinical experience and patient interaction.
No evenings or weekends. Background check required.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
