Job Summary
We are seeking a POC Buyer to support procurement operations and work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers across multiple business areas and regions. The ideal candidate will be organized, responsive, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple procurement-related tasks in a fast-paced environment.
This position will be responsible for supporting purchasing activities, supplier communications, purchase orders, invoice resolution, vendor master management, and other procurement processes while ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders by providing responsive and proactive support.
• Work with stakeholders across different business functions and regions to understand and fulfill procurement requirements.
• Prioritize and manage daily workflow, including monitoring, tracking, and reporting task progress through completion.
• Support supplier negotiations and communications as required.
• Follow established procurement policies, processes, and procedures.
• Research and resolve blocked, stalled, or disputed invoices.
• Manage supplier communications, declarations, and required documentation.
• Support Global Vendor Master Management activities.
• Assist with Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and related documentation.
• Prepare and coordinate Requests for Quotes (RFQs).
• Process and support Purchase Order (PO) rework and corrections.
• Monitor and manage the procurement task request inbox.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve purchasing-related issues.
• Ensure assigned tasks are completed within required timelines and service expectations.
Basic Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following:
• Associate's degree with 4 years of relevant experience, OR
• Bachelor's degree with 0–1 years of relevant experience, OR
• 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications
• Some experience or exposure to procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain operations.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Team-oriented, career-focused, and goal-oriented approach.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced business environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
