Maintenance Technician- Multiple Roles- Hiring immediately

Job SummarySeeking a highly skilled, hands-on Maintenance Mechanic with strong machining, welding, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic experience. This role requires a true jack-of-all-trades professional who can disassemble, repair, fabricate, and reassemble industrial equipment while working independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems across production equipmentPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on thermoformers, punch presses, extruders, granulators, blowers, and auxiliary systemsRebuild pumps, replace mechanical seals, and troubleshoot extrusion vacuum loading systemsDisassemble, repair, fabricate, and reassemble industrial machinery, including working inside or underneath equipment as requiredPerform machining and fabrication tasks: boring, broaching, machining gears and sprockets, and holding tolerances to ±.001Use precision measuring tools including inside/outside micrometers and calipersPerform MIG and arc welding as required (welding is not daily but is an essential skill)Replace, align, and install motors; perform hoist inspections and rigging tasksUnjam scrap lines; replace cyclone and baler filters; install coating rolls and nip rollsPerform pipefitting, including tubing installation and hydraulic fittingsShift time6pm - 6am12 hour shifts that alternate 3 days a week to 4 days a weekElectrical & ControlsPerform minor electrical work such as rewiring direct-replacement components (valves, photo eyes, small motors, sensors)Safely isolate equipment using proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) proceduresDocumentation & SystemsComplete work orders accurately using computerized maintenance systemsLook up crib parts in SAP, properly sign out inventory, and communicate job status during shift handoffsEquipment & ToolsOperate mobile and aerial equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, and bucket liftsUse hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision machining tools safely and effectivelyQualificationsDemonstrated hands-on mechanical aptitude with the ability to disassemble and rebuild industrial equipmentExperience in machining, welding, and fabrication within an industrial manufacturing environmentAbility to work independently, troubleshoot effectively, and adapt to varied equipment and tasksComfortable working in physically demanding conditions, including confined spaces and elevated work areasPreferred ExperienceIndustrial-scale machinery maintenance (automotive, plastics, extrusion, or heavy manufacturing)Rigging and material handling experiencePrevious exposure to automotive or mechanical systems (industrial scale preferred)Safety & ComplianceComply with all plant safety rules, GMP standards, PPE requirements, and department work instructionsUnderstand plant emergency response procedures and individual roles during emergenciesMaintain clean, organized work areas and practice good housekeeping before and after all jobs Company DescriptionAgeatia was built on the principle of becoming a leading provider of workforce solutions for clients and candidates across the Engineering, Healthcare, Scientific and Information Technology industries.
