AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Supply Chain Planning Manager.
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Supply Chain Planning Manager to oversee demand planning, inventory optimization, and sales and operations planning (S&OP) across a key product line. This role is critical in driving efficiency, reducing costs, and improving forecast accuracy. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in advanced planning systems and proven managerial experience.
Your Impact (Key Responsibilities)
- Demand Forecasting: Lead the development and maintenance of accurate sales forecasts, integrating market intelligence and historical data to optimize inventory levels.
- S&OP Leadership: Drive the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle, facilitating cross-functional alignment between sales, marketing, finance, and manufacturing.
- Inventory Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to reduce obsolete inventory, improve turnover rates, and manage safety stock levels across the supply network.
- System Integration: Utilize and optimize advanced planning and scheduling (APS) systems, ensuring data integrity and master data accuracy.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and coach a team of planning analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and analytical rigor.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain or Planning, with at least 3 years in a dedicated managerial or leadership capacity.
- Technical Skill Requirements: Expert proficiency in SAP APO (Advanced Planning & Optimization) or a comparable APS tool (e.g., Kinaxis, Oracle ASC).
- Certifications (Highly Preferred): Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM or CSCP are strongly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions at the executive level.
