Work as a manager on the purchasing indirect team, responsible for understanding the scope and analyzing each supplier on a specific commodity.
Your Impact
- Help AGCO to find the best and newest technologies to supply solutions resulting in a better TCO.
- Support all AGCO sites in SA and keep the local alignment working very close to GCM.
- Reduce our costs through market test, supplier analysis, cost breakdown analysis and local resourcing; Ability to manage relationship internally and with suppliers achieving best results for AGCO business.
- Understand DT strategy to apply in his category also aligned with purchasing goals.
- Good understanding regarding indirect material environment and knowledge from the industry in regards process, procedures, systems, legal contracts.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field.
- Category Manager at AGCO should have responsibilities locally and globally but aligned with Global commodity Manager. Annual results, savings for AGCO sites. Work cross functional and report initiatives of cost reduction aligned with Global commodity Manager.
- Identify and implement cost reductions for AGCO aligned with Global commodity Manager and site.
- Manage commodity strategy together with team support. Receive demands from stakeholders and support.
- Support the transactional team on spot purchases.
