AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Process Improvement Engineer.
We are seeking a results-driven Process Improvement Engineer to champion Lean and Six Sigma methodologies across our manufacturing and operational processes. This role is critical in identifying bottlenecks, reducing waste, improving throughput, and driving a culture of continuous operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience leading kaizen events and a strong analytical background.
Your Impact (Key Responsibilities)
- Continuous Improvement (CI): Identify, analyze, and implement process improvements that eliminate waste, reduce costs, and improve product quality and delivery timelines.
- Lean & Six Sigma Leadership: Lead and facilitate Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping (VSM) exercises, and Six Sigma projects to deliver measurable business results.
- Data Analysis: Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and quantitative analysis to measure process capability, monitor performance metrics, and validate improvements.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality assurance, and engineering teams to embed standardized work practices and sustain implemented changes.
- Training & Mentorship: Develop and deliver training to site personnel on Lean principles, tools, and methodologies, coaching them to become self-sufficient in CI.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with demonstrated success in implementing Lean principles.
- Technical Skill Requirements: Certification or strong practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma Green Belt certification is mandatory. Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab).
- Certifications (Highly Preferred): Six Sigma Black Belt certification or PMP (Project Management Professional) is a strong advantage.
- Soft Skills: Excellent facilitation, project management, and influence skills, with the ability to effectively drive change without direct authority across factory floor teams.
